Setting Up CAKE Conversion Pixel Webhook

The CAKE integration fires conversion tracking pixels to CAKE's affiliate marketing platform when calls convert, enabling accurate campaign attribution and affiliate payouts.

Setup Process

1. Create New Webhook

1. Navigate to Integrations → Webhooks
2. Click + New Webhook
3. Select Conversion Pixel template type
4. Choose CAKE from the dropdown

2. Basic Configuration

1. CAKE Domain: Enter your CAKE domain (e.g., yourdomain.cake.com)
2. Name: Give your webhook a name
3. Event: Select Call Completed
4. Click Save Webhook

3. Advanced Options (Optional)

After saving, you can configure additional settings:

Dynamic Variables The system automatically maps call data to CAKE parameters:

• CallId maps to transaction ID for conversion matching
• CampaignId maps to CAKE Offer ID for attribution
• SourceSubId maps to affiliate/publisher ID
• CallRevenue maps to revenue amount for payouts

Filtering

• Add filters using any system tag (InboundState, BuyerName, CampaignName, etc.)
• Use Equals conditions to control when pixels fire
• Combine conditions with Add Or Rule or Add And Rule

Testing

• Fill in test values for all detected variables
• Click Run Webhook to verify the integration
• Check that conversions appear in your CAKE admin portal

Best Practices

• Test with valid CAKE Offer IDs before going live
• Use filters to fire pixels only on successful conversions
• Ensure transaction IDs are unique for accurate tracking
• Monitor conversion attribution in CAKE reporting
• Keep your CAKE domain information current

Troubleshooting

• Verify your CAKE domain is entered correctly
• Check that Campaign IDs correspond to active CAKE Offer IDs
• Ensure revenue amounts are in the correct format
• Use the testing tool to validate pixel firing
• Review CAKE's conversion logs for any error messages
